Hi! I’m Melody Kelly, a former elementary school teacher turned author. After years of teaching, I decided to pursue my passion for writing full time. I’ve since published Teaching From the Heart, a book of encouragement for teachers, two children’s books, and my debut novel, Apricity.

My children’s books are Lulu at The Louvre and Lulu Cracks the Case and are part of The Lulu Mystery Series with more to come soon. They follow a young mouse named Lulu as she solves art mysteries and goes on many fun adventures while also learning important lessons about friendship, kindness, and bravery. So far Lulu has traveled from England to Paris and back again. Where will she go next?

I began writing as a young girl and have always enjoyed writing across genres. I am currently at work on another novel, a book of poetry, and a third Lulu mystery.
